MODULE 1: START HERE
In Module 1, I welcome you to the course and give you a program overview. I also invite you to my weekly journaling circle, Mindful Tea, share how you can get answers to any of your questions, and share the course workbook.
MODULE 2: SETTING UP YOUR JOURNALING PRACTICE
In Module 2, you will set the foundation for your journaling practice. I will guide you in setting an intention for the course and your journaling practice. I will share tips to create a consistent journaling practice. Next I will help you to create a journaling ritual that creates a safe and sacred space for you to journal. Finally, I will teach you my Homecoming Journaling Method.
MODULE 3: THE POWER OF JOURNALING PROMPTS
In Module 3, you will learn about a variety of journal prompts you can use to deepen and add creativity to your journaling practice. You will combine your journaling ritual, my Homecoming Journaling Method, and guided journal prompts to explore a variety of topics that will support you and your life.

The last lesson teaches you a variety of ways you can use your practice as a tool for reflection so that your writing is of service to you.
MODULE 4: JOURNALING IN COMMUNITY
In Module 4, the focus is on journaling in community. While most people think of journaling as strictly a solo activity, participating in a journaling circle can help you to journal more consistently and connect with other journal writers. I will also teach you how to start a journaling circle of your own, or find one that fits your needs.
MODULE 5: EXTRAS
In Module 5, I will share some bonus items to support your journaling practice. Included are playlists for journaling and meditation, journaling resources, and freebies.
The Homecoming Journaling Method was developed through my meditation practice. After my meditation sessions, I noticed that I felt a deep connection to my most wise, loving, and accepting self. Instead of pushing my thoughts and feelings down, I was allowing them to rise to the surface, observing them with curiosity and compassion.
In this state of feeling at home in my mind, body, and soul, I felt called to write the thoughts and feelings that had come up during my meditations. As I journaled, I was able to understand, express, and process who I am, what I need, and what I want. When I reflected on each entry, I was surprised by the insights and clarity I had gained. It was empowering to know I was capable of finding the answers I needed from within.
